Description
A Chinese porcelain celadon-glazed ‘lotus scroll’ carved vase (MEIPING). The well-potted, high-shouldered body tapers to a slightly flared foot and is carved with a wide band of peony scrolls set between two bands of leafy scrolls, all under a glaze of a soft olive-green hue. 19th/20th century. H: 31 cm. The base shows traces of spray paint, suggesting a later addition or restoration. (UV-checked).
