A baluster-shaped green veined jade bowl resting on a small circular pedestal. Fitted with two lateral handles carved in stylised forms evoking foliage. The flared neck is decorated with an engraved plant motif forming a continuous floral frieze. The body is decorated with a frieze engraved with cartouches composed of calligraphy engraved in Thuluth, with characters enhanced with dark pigment. verses taken from the sura Al-Ikhlâs.
