ART DECO cigarette case, circa 1925–1935: rectangular in shape with a gadrooned decoration in 950 mil. silver; the clasp and the wide, plain central band are in vermeil. The interior comprises three compartments and is adorned with a family coat of arms on the lid (1st quarter: cinquefoil; 2nd quarter: star on a fess-crossed field; 3rd quarter: idem; 4th quarter: a shrub; the whole surmounted by a helmet in profile with a lambrequin). Minerva and an illegible maker’s mark. Dimensions: 8 x 12.9 x 1 cm. Internal length of a compartment: 7.5 cm. Weight: 197 g
