CAB, Céramique d’Art de Bordeaux (1919–1947) – Earthenware trinket tray, in white earthenware glazed in black and yellow. Signed ‘CAB’ on the base. Circa 1950. L. 22 cm. Note: Founded in 1919 by Jean Mérillon, Céramique d’Art de Bordeaux enjoyed its golden age in the 1930s and 1940s, notably thanks to its collaboration with the decoration department of Le Printemps, known as Primavera, under the artistic direction of Félix Gète.
