A sloping desk with ebony veneers on all sides, opening to a flap and three drawers in the front and resting on four tapered legs. Ivory ornamentation on the lock escutcheons, hoof tips, motifs and pastilles on the cornice. Small chips in the veneer and crack at the back. H. 101 cm W. 79 cm D. 46 cm
This desk was made around 1925-1930, when Krass was probably working with Ruhlmann for clients in Lyon.
