Edmond LACHENAL (1855–1948) Tea set, ‘Papillon’ model, in turquoise crackle-glazed ceramic, comprising a teapot, a large sugar bowl, a milk jug and five cups and saucers. The rims and handles are butterfly-shaped. Some pieces are signed on the underside. (One butterfly is broken; there is a chip on the inner rim of the teapot).
