Very elegant pair of vases signed Masanobu
In filigree silver, resting on feet decorated with ruyi, the openwork sides decorated with scrolls and flowers enclosing on each side a lacquer cartouche presenting a shibayama decoration of mother-of-pearl inlays of birds among flowers, the handles taking the form of dragons treated in the naturalistic taste, the thin necks very widely flared at the opening. All decorated with champlevé polychrome enamels. Signed "Masanobu" (正信) in cartouches below the feet.
