JAPAN, early 20th century
Elegant small silver cabinet (kodansu)
Quadrangular in shape, opening with two doors at the front, and revealing a suite of three drawers with knobs decorated with chrysanthemum flowers. The outer surface has a rich incised decoration of plum blossom branches, bamboo and chrysanthemums, with beautifully worked fittings. Signed "傷信" on the back. With orange silk double pompom cord and case.
