ƒ JAPAN, Meiji Period Set of three subjects Representing three geisha engaged in various activities, one seated playing the shamisen, one standing doing a dance with a fan, another seated holding two chopsticks with possible instrument missing. The heads, hands and accessories are carved in ivory, and the bodies and kimono in gold, silver and red lacquer, using aogai and iro-e techniques. Height: between 16.5 and 26 cm (One fan missing, wear) *This lot is an item in which MILLON or its associates have a right of ownership over all or part of the lot or have an interest equivalent to a right of ownership.
