VIETNAM, Bien Hôa school, 20th century Enamelled stoneware subject Representing a standing Quan Am, holding a scroll in one hand and a basket in the other, wearing a long green enamelled dress decorated with stylised waves. A Bien Hoa production mark stamped under the base. Height : 45 cm Width: 12 cm Provenance: Private Parisian collection assembled by Mr and Mrs X, Paymaster General at the French Consulate General in Saigon in the 1960s. Works acquired in Vietnam, some directly from artists who were friends of the family. The collection has remained in the family to this day. H: 45 x W: 12 x D: 10 cm
