VIETNAM, Thanh Le workshop, 20th century Glazed stoneware wall plaque Representing a young woman seated, having a sinograme painted on her back by an older woman. Thanh Ley cartouche on the reverse. 19 x 20 cm Provenance: Private collection in Paris assembled by Mr and Mrs X, Paymaster General at the French Consulate in Saigon in the 1960s. Works acquired in Vietnam, some directly from artists who were friends of the family. The collection has remained in the family to this day. H: 19 x W: 20 cm
