‘Albrans’ circa 1924–1927
Vase on a pedestal, later converted into a lantern body (presumably following an accident involving the base).
A multi-layered glass piece with an acid-etched design, featuring a plum-coloured tortoiseshell finish on a marbled yellow background.
Subsequently drilled and fitted with gold chains.
Bears an apocryphal ‘LE VERRE FRANCAIS’ signature, engraved around the neck.
Height: 20.5 cm
Damaged vase, missing its original pedestal and subsequently fitted as a lantern.
