Boldly carved in the round as a recumbent mythical beast shown facing forward, its powerful limbs tucked beneath the body in a crouching pose, the elongated head defined by prominent brows and a ruyi-shaped snout, the sides with dynamic, flowing curves that enhance a sense of movement, covered overall with a black lacquer.
