A RARE DOUCAI SAUCER DISH
Yongzheng six-character mark and of the period
Finely outlined in underglaze blue and filled with translucent green, yellow, aubergine and coral-red with a yellow deer gazing at two bats, the border with clusters of lingzhi and foliage issuing from craggy rockwork, and a monkey sitting on a branch laden with peaches.
20.2 cm (8 in.) diam.
