MATTON, Gabriel PASQUALINI (1931–2008) ‘Get me out of here!’ Oil on canvas, 26 x 31.5 cm; with frame, 34 x 39 cm. Monogrammed in the lower left-hand corner (restored). Charles MATTON (1931–2008), also known by the pseudonym Gabriel PASQUALINI: “I must understand the causes of these mental lapses.” (Note, 1952). Françoise Sagan praised his “violent charm”. His grave is covered with a mirror reflecting the sky.
