Description
LITERATURE. AYMÉ (Marcel), French writer (1902–1967). 2 signed autograph letters to Sandra Jayat. Paris, 26 September 1961 and 18 December 1962. 1 p. in-8, each. Envelopes retained. Lovely letters. The first concerns his collection of poems, *Lje le sens mieux que je ne l’exprime*, exploring their incantations and their music, heavy with mystery... . He thanks her for the poems she sent him, which display a rare sensitivity and the magic of your gypsy-style rhymes. I have read them and shall bind them together, with a pleasure for which I am infinitely grateful to you....
