In my painting, I make extensive use of a palette knife, with which I try to convey a sense of movement or texture.
On 20 September, I enjoyed depicting this spot, which I feel clearly illustrates the connection between the village and the forest, whilst trying to capture the light filtering through the trees. I really enjoyed being able to chat about my painting throughout the day with passers-by of all ages.
