MAURICE JALLOT (1900–1971) (attributed to)
A lacquered wooden lounge unit serving as a bar cabinet.
The black-lacquered quadrangular body features, on the front, four ivory-lacquered doors, each bearing a central eglomised mirror motif on the theme of Bacchus.
The interior is fitted with clear glass shelves and a mirrored back; the upper section features a clear glass serving flap framed by a brass angle bracket.
The base, with four short Gaine-style legs fitted with brass caps, is highlighted by a gilded wooden top.
Dated from the mid-1940s.
