A CURVED CHEST OF DRAWERS, with a slightly arched front in violet wood veneer, decorated with a marquetry design of butterfly wings and scrolls, the scantling is scalloped, with five drawers in three rows; the handles, feet and lock plates are in bronze, decorated with figures of women wearing aigrettes, cherubs, volutes and foliage. The top is of red and grey breccia marble with a ‘bec de corbin’ pattern (standard restorations, in good condition, the bronze fittings are reattached). Regency period. Height: 87 cm. Length: 133 cm.
