VAN CLEEF & ARPELS by GAY FRERES: A 750-thousandths yellow gold and horn clasp-style bangle, featuring two lion heads holding a finely chiselled gold arch; the lions’ eyes are faceted rubies; with a clasp and an eight-point safety catch. A fine piece of craftsmanship characteristic of the fruitful collaboration between VCA and the Gay brothers in the mid-1970s. In its original case, bearing the G-F master’s hallmark for the Gay brothers’ workshop, the VCA signature and the serial number N° B2045Z6 on the clasp. Diameter 17 cm. Weight 39 g.
