PAIR OF VEGETABLE BOWLS and their silver liners, hallmarked ‘Minerva 1st Title’ between 1852 and 1870 by François-Julien DOYEN and marked ‘PINCHON PLACE DAUHINE. 20 PARIS’. Circular in shape with contoured edges, the body is engraved with a numeral surmounted by a knight’s helmet and features two handles formed by two leafy branches joining together. The ribbed lid, also bearing a number, is topped by a knob depicting a naturalistic broccoli on one side and an artichoke on the other. Weight: 3,773 g. Length: 29 cm. Height: 18 cm.
