Description
SMALL ribbed crystal EWER in a gilded silver setting, hallmarked ‘Minerve 1st Title’, made between 1884 and 1910 by Henri SOUFFLOT. It rests on a circular pedestal extending into a frieze of acanthus leaves and laurel branches. The neck, echoing this decoration, is accompanied by a coiled handle accented with a crossed ribbon; the domed lid is decorated with godrons and surmounted by a finial. Weight: 404 g. Height: 19 cm. Provenance: Descendants of the silversmith.
