Silver JUG, PORTUGAL, Porto, 1870–1877, by the silversmith ‘GFV’. In the LOUIS XVI style, resting on a circular pedestal, it is accented with rows of pearls and features an engraved foliage design on the foot that extends to the base of the body. The body is decorated with ribbon bows linked together by garlands of fleurons, echoed beneath the neck. The scroll-shaped handle ends in a coil. Weight: 991 g. Height: 28.5 cm.
