Silver WINE CUP or TASTE-VIN, MÂCON 1742–1747 by Albert-Joseph PIC or PICQUE, received in 1741 (unpublished silversmith’s hallmark, marked beneath the body and on the base). Circular in shape, resting on a corded foot, the plain body is engraved with ‘J.PONCET 1789’ and features a serpentine handle. Weight: 88.8 g. Diameter: 7.9 cm.
