A portico clock in black marble and finely chiselled, gilded bronze. Enamelled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the 15-minute marks. Feathered finials; the upper part of the pilasters is surmounted by a lion, whilst the pilasters are decorated with caryatids and floral scrollwork. The dial is framed by drapery and a palmette. The plinth is decorated with drapery and flowers framing a bas-relief depicting a quiver. Small spindle-shaped feet. Consulate–Empire period. Manual-winding mechanical movement. Normal wear and tear and restoration. 62 x 44.5 x 14 cm
