Description
A pair of armchairs in beige-painted wood, moulded and carved with bouquets of flowers, with cabriolet-style ‘hot-air balloon’ backs and a carved, stepped belt. Joint blocks decorated with daisies. Tapered, fluted legs with scalloped edges at the front and plain at the rear. Louis XVI period. Belt mouldings not visible. Restoration work and damage, notably to the front belt moulding of one of the armchairs, with a gap in the carving. 90 x 58 x 50 cm
