“Portrait of a dark-haired woman, half-length, facing slightly to the right, in a grey dress, with a lace collar and a creole earring” Enamel miniature on copper from the First Empire period, attributed and dated on the reverse of the mount as “Dupuis/1812”. The speckled grey counter-enamel has not been stripped back for inspection. Diameter 53.80 mm. In a burnished wooden frame (cracked), dimensions 11 x 10.8 cm.
