A walnut floor clock with an ornate design. Regency period. The circular dial features enamelled cartouches, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the five-minute intervals; it strikes the hour on three gongs and is fitted with a pendulum movement. The mechanism has undergone numerous alterations. Parts have been modified or replaced. Total height: 270 cm. Signs of wear, woodworm holes and restoration work. Upper door panel without glass. A perforated brass frame has been added to the upper section at a later date.
