Paris. Silver mustard pot, clear glass bowl; the openwork frame features an arcade motif adorned with a shield and a frieze of lozenges; a hat-shaped lid mounted on a hinge, an acorn-shaped knob on a flat platform, a coiled handle, and a pedestal encircled by a frieze of fillets echoing the design on the square base. Paris 1st Class, 1st Title, 1798–1809, Master Goldsmith: Jean-Baptiste-Lazare Clérin, admitted as a master in 1789. H. 13.5 cm, Net weight: 105 g. Slight distortion, a small dent where the lid fits, a slight mark on the lid, a cracked glass cup and a small chip.
