Silver and glass candy dish in the shape of a shell with scalloped ribs, openwork mount featuring four palmettes on a small plinth, the edges decorated with a frieze of godrons alternating with fillets, handles with two scroll-shaped attachment points, terminating in lioness heads and clusters of fruit; a removable lid with a moulded rim and a dome-shaped handle in the form of an acorn with ribs, set upon a terrace of godrons; a pedestal ringed with a frieze of fine godrons, base edged with a frieze of laurel leaves and fruit, resting on a square plinth with a moulded rim, ball-shaped feet.
