A gilded bronze clock featuring a decoration of a cupid with his quiver standing near an oak tree. It rests on a rectangular plinth decorated with two musical putti and a third directing a chariot drawn by a dragonfly. The white enamelled dial features Arabic numerals for the hours and is signed ‘J.B. PETIT’ in Paris, set between two torches and a peacock.
