It rests on a rectangular plinth decorated with two musical putti and a third directing a chariot drawn by a dragonfly. The white enamelled dial features Arabic numerals for the hours and is signed ‘J.B. PETIT’ in Paris, set between two torches and a peacock. Charles X period. H: 43 – W: 32 – D: 10 cm. Quiver needs reattaching and there are imperfections on the dial.
