Two imperial edicts.
Written in Chinese calligraphy on yellow paper decorated with dragon motifs.
The first recognises the deity “Hue Minh Cong Chua” (Princess Hue Minh), whilst the second recognises the deity “Cao Son” (High Mountain); both are dated to the second year of Khai Dinh (1917) and bear the four-character seal “Sac Menh Chi bao”. Case and box covered in red lacquer, decorated with dragons.

Red lacquer document holder: L: 59 – Diameter: 6 cm.
One hinge needs reattaching. Chips and cracks on the lid and base of the box. Stains.
