China, 18th century. An ormolu Amitayus seated in vajrasana on a double lotiform base. The deity is wearing a high five-pointed crown, elaborate earrings, a rich necklace and finely chased ornaments. The left hand is in the form of a vitarkamudra. The reverse has a sealed base engraved with a double vajra. Good even wear to the gilding, showing in places the brown patina of the bronze. Height : 10,7 cm
