10564-103 / CH D4 / Volumes I and II of ‘Gargantua and Pantagruel’ by François Rabelais, an edition printed on vellum by the Gibert Jeune bookshop for collectors, featuring 160 colour illustrations by Dubout; Volume I, number 2445, printing completed on 4 October 1954, all in their original slipcase. Spines and slipcases slightly discoloured; books annotated with a name. Also included is a copy of *Tristan and Iseult*, published by L’Odéon, with illustrations by André Hubert; the volumes, bound in vellum, are contained in a cardboard box (the box is in its original condition and bears a name).
