*Kodak* (subtitled *Documentaire*) is a collection of poems exploring, primarily, American modernity through fragmentary, cinematic texts, conceived as photographic snapshots – hence the original title *Kodak*, before the brand objected, forcing the addition of the subtitle.
Whilst the book refers to Black Americans in the poem ‘The South’, Africa also features, notably in the poems ‘Le Bahr-el-Zeraf’ and ‘Elephant Hunt’.
One of 77 numbered copies on Holland paper (no. XLI), the second paper run following 27 copies on antique Japanese paper in the traditional format.
Slight browning on the cover.
