3 parts in one vol. in-folio, (46,5 x 32 cm) fawn calf, broadly framed with a roulette of endowed palms and cold fillets, concentric cold framing, spine decorated, interior rouette, edges gilt (English binding of the period).
Second edition of this collection (first published in English only in 1810): the title and text are in English and French (title, table of plates 38 ff. of text and 42 views engraved in aquatint in colour by J. Clark after drawings by the author, numbered 1 to 38, and with an additional plate for nos. 5, 18, 32 and 37).
Contains: Sketches of military costume in Spain and Portugal. 1810 (title and 8 p. of text in English, 13 plates of military costumes engraved in aquatint in colour by J. Clark, with title in English and French).
The volume opens with : Revue historique et chronologique des événements mémorables de la guerre dans la péninsule... 1813 (title and 24 p., French and English).
