3 works in one vol. in-4 (25 × 18.5 cm), fawn shagreened calf, triple cold fillet, spine ribbed and decorated, brown titles and green tomaison, speckled edges (period binding).
First edition of this scholarly study, critical of these famous collections. A revolutionary, lawyer and member of the Académie des inscriptions, Camus is considered to be one of the founders of the Archives nationales.

One of the first editions of the Greek inscription of the Rosetta stone, four years after the discovery of this famous stele at Fort Saint-Julien near Rosetta. The author was an administrator at the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal. It includes a large folding plate engraved in copper on heavy laid paper.
