2 parts in one vol. in-4 oblong (21,8 × 28 cm), marbled basane, three gilt fillets framing the boards, spine ribbed and decorated with gilt motifs, red title-pieces, gilt edges (period binding).
Title-frontispiece and 93 copper-engraved maps, 90 of which finely watercoloured and 3 folded.
This is one of the very first departmental atlases of France.
The folded maps include a plan of Pondicherry.
The text is printed in two numbered columns.
The engraved title-frontispiece bears the date 1792.
Binding a little rubbed, spotting. Some light foxing, but very fresh maps.
