Pet. in-folio (33.1 × 25 cm), entirely mounted on tabs, red half-chagrin with corners, spine ribbed and decorated with small gilt motifs, gilt initials at foot of spine, first cover preserved, gilt edges (period binding).
Album of ten songs, accompanied by notated music.
The author's copy. The lithographs by J. Bertrand have been replaced by the 10 original drawings in pencil, watercolour and highlights of white gouache, on fine paper and pasted down.
Two autograph corrections in ink.
Binding a little rubbed. Some foxing; some leaves partially detached.
