LECOULTRE, 1940s: ladies’ wristwatch concealed within a 750-milligram gold case beneath a shell-shaped cover adorned with a cultured pearl (approx. 2.8 x 2.4 cm). Small round case, signed champagne-coloured dial with spike-shaped hour markers and Arabic numerals. Mechanical movement with concealed winding mechanism and screw-down caseback, numbered 534076. Bracelet with asymmetrical clasps, consisting of a double snake-link chain, with a ratchet clasp. Master Edmond Jaeger’s hourglass hallmark. (Length: approx. 17 cm) (traces of silver solder on the bracelet, traces of glue on the bead, slight scratches, winding crown missing, servicing required). 32.9 g gross Comes with a non-original felt pouch.
