French piece from the second half of the 19th century Oval medallion pendant in 750‰ yellow gold, set with white button pearls and an old-cut diamond at the centre, framed by old-cut diamonds and cushion-cut sapphires. Fitted with a hinge, it opens to reveal two glass panels. Rhomboid workshop hallmark. Dimensions: 3.7 x 2.8 cm. Gross weight: 19.7 g. (Chips and scratches; one pearl missing).
