LIP Himalaya 1954 Men’s steel wristwatch.  - Dial: White/silver, signed LIP / HIMALAYA, with the inscriptions ‘MÉCANIQUE / 40H DE MARCHE’ at 6 o’clock and ‘BESANÇON FRANCE’ at the bottom. Black-painted Arabic numerals, minute track. Date window at 3 o’clock. Black dauphine hands, central seconds hand with a red tip. - Case: Round, polished steel, transparent screw-down caseback engraved around the edge with ‘FABRIQUÉ À BESANÇON - HIMALAYA 1954 - STEEL - 50M’, numbered ⁠671552⁠ / ⁠6190⁠.  - Movement: Manual-winding mechanical, bridges decorated with Côtes de Genève and a crystal screen-printed with the Besançon coat of arms. - Strap: Black crocodile-effect leather, steel pin buckle.  Diameter: approx. 40 mm Condition: Good overall condition, minor scratches from wear on the case and bezel. The watch was in working order at the time of valuation. Sold as is, without box or papers.
