LIP Himalaya Chronograph Men’s stainless steel chronograph watch.  - Dial: White/silver, bearing the LIP / HIMALAYA logo, with ‘Chronographe’ above the date window at 6 o’clock and ‘BESANÇON FRANCE’ at the bottom. Gold/bronze-coloured applied Arabic numerals and hour markers. Two sub-dials (small seconds at 9 o’clock and 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock). Tachymeter scale on the flange. Sapphire crystal.  - Case: Round, polished steel case with mushroom-shaped pushers. Screw-down steel caseback engraved with the coat of arms of the city of Besançon and the LIP logo, with the inscription ‘FABRIQUÉ À BESANÇON - HIMALAYA 1954 - STEEL - WATER-RESISTANT TO 50M’, numbered ⁠671593⁠ / ⁠8110⁠.  - Movement: Quartz (requires servicing/battery replacement). - Strap: Green/grey leather with a distressed finish, steel pin buckle. Diameter: approx. 39 mm Condition: Pronounced scratches and signs of wear visible on the case back, slight micro-scratches on the case. Watch was non-functional at the time of appraisal; battery needs replacing. Sold as is, without box or papers.
