A rare Volcanic repeating pistol in .38 calibre. Fluted barrel, with traces of a bronze finish, marked on the top ‘Patent Feb 14-1854 New Haven Conn’. Bronze frame. Cocking lever with a ring numbered ‘2104’ (or ‘21C4’). Ivory grip plates. Brass clamp.
Barrel length: 15.4 cm. Overall length: 34 cm.
