Blade (sugata): hira-zukuri, iori-mune Temper (hamon): suguha Length (nagasa): cm Kizu Mountings (koshira-e) Fuchi: iron inlaid with taka zogan of gilded copper depicting chrysanthemums. Kashira: kiku-shaped, made of iron inlaid with nunome zogan featuring geometric motifs Kozuka: made of suaka, inlaid with taka zogan of shibuichi depicting clematis. Signed Shosei. Tsuka: black lacquer inlaid with mother-of-pearl depicting a cicada and a dung beetle Tsuba: maru-gata, made of iron, openwork with maru-bori leaf motifs.
