TIBET, early 20th century
A pectoral reliquary in vermeil, comprising silver of 800 parts per thousand and an alloy, featuring a multi-lobed form centred on a rosette alternating coral cabochons encircled by a chiselled floral motif, the cabochon border polished with turquoises, the honeycomb-patterned sides highlighted by a gilded twisted band. The base of the piece features a double-arrow shape set with coral and turquoise cabochons; the fixed loop, quadruply fluted and twisted, is embellished with three coral cabochons.
The piece is worn on a chain with multiple clasp links and an S-shaped clasp.
