A large batch of loose, uncounted coins. The collection comprises: Antique coins: Byzantine follis, coins from the Ancien Régime and the 19th century.  Modern French coins: mostly ‘Semeuse’-type francs from the 1960s and 1970s (five francs dating from after 1969).  A variety of foreign coins (Germany, Spain, Austria, etc.). Condition: Antique coins: heavily worn, significant scuffing, oxidation and traces of verdigris. Modern and foreign coins: normal wear and tear, dirt and scratches.
