A pair of large Art Nouveau frames in ivory-coloured lacquered wood, containing engravings based on paintings by Edouard BISSON (1856–1945), entitled ‘Pris au piège’ and ‘L’alerte’, dated 1901 and 1902 respectively, depicting young women dressed in sheer veils and light tunics, accompanied by cherubs. Printed by Sirven in Toulouse. Height 145 cm – width 113 cm. A small chip on the lower part of one of the two frames. Framed by the Olivier firm in Nancy.
