A charming pouch purse; the frame is decorated with garlands, baskets of flowers and foliage, whilst the chain—held in place by two swans facing each other—is made of silver (800‰; Minerva hallmarks indicating the second standard on the frame and a boar’s head on the chain). The black silk pouch is embellished with embroidered black beads. Late 19th century. MO.: EE. Gross weight: 204.86 g.; Width of the setting: 15 cm; Height of the purse with charms: 22 cm. The silk is torn at the setting. A few beads are missing and some threads have come undone.
